The old scar-covered roegadyn hoisted her up, angling the small lalafell so that she could sit comfortably atop his shoulders. She protested she was no longer a child, and the fishermen affectionately ruffled her hair and pinched her cheeks. “You will always be our little darling here, no matter where you run off too or whatever thing you slay next!” She relaxed and let out a defeated sigh. Such were the easy-going people of Limsa Lominsa – the same people that had raised her, taught her to fish before she could say her full name, and the same people she returned to for home.
